CARE is excited to share that the Micro Shelter Project is on the way to being done!
This project took a bit of a break due to last winter’s bad weather and the withdrawal of our contractor due to Covid-19 this spring. We are happy that Gage Construction stepped in as our new contractor to get these much-needed shelters done before the winter weather sets in.
These shelters will be managed by CARE in partnership with the Tillamook Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Homeowners in Depoe Bay needed safe, reliable access to their private beach—but the rugged coastal slope posed major challenges. Gage Contractors designed and built a set of cement stairs and handrails, customized to the landscape and local conditions.
New home owners in Oceanside Oregon, decided the first makeover had to be their small master bath. They reached out right before Christmas to get on our schedule and the DEMO DAY started in February 2020.
After taking a beating for many years, this client's New Year's project for Gage Construction was to reside this entire house with new plywood sheeting, felt, and beautiful cedar shingles.
